Duravit AG is a manufacturer of sanitary technology products based in Hornberg, Baden-Württemberg. In addition to Germany, Duravit has production sites in France, China and India. The product portfolio ranges from sanitary ceramics and bathroom furniture, shower trays and bathtubs, wellness systems and fittings to accessories and installation systems.

The medium-sized, family-owned company has been successful for over 200 years. With a focus on design, innovation and sustainability, the qualification of customers, partners and internal employees also plays an important role – this is how the Duravit success story can be continued.

Sanitary technology is a complex field that requires a great deal of specialist knowledge.

For this reason, training content must be communicated to customers, partners and employees in a targeted and sustainable manner. Only in this way can learners deepen their knowledge of the functions and special features of Duravit sanitary systems and also familiarize themselves with the latest technologies and standards.

This is particularly relevant in the area of customer service: Customers need comprehensive advice, technical problems need to be solved and innovative solutions need to be offered.

The Learning Management System (LMS) hiveQ was able to fulfill precisely this requirement and create a platform for Duravit that offers online training for all target groups and thus combines sales and product training.

By using classic e-learning, the hiveQ learning management system enables training courses on various topics.

For example, customers and partners as well as internal employees are trained in the safe and correct installation of a Duravit wall-hung WC in an online training course. The training content provides the necessary knowledge to avoid installation errors, for example, and to ensure optimum functionality of the product.

To maximize learning success, the knowledge acquired is tested in a final test.

With the ability to access detailed reports and statistics on the completion status of participants, Duravit can optimize the training process and ensure that the learning content is effective and efficient.

Almost 1,500 users use Duravit’s training platform to find out about the products and learn about special features.

By providing online training, learners have access to the knowledge they need to expand their knowledge of Duravit products. Access to the training courses from anywhere and at any time enables flexible adaptation of the training courses to individual schedules.

This contributes to effective knowledge transfer and helps Duravit to provide a high-quality service to its customers!
