For decades, the SMS group has consistently invested in expanding the knowledge and experience of its employees and relies on sound training and further education for young talents. With almost 400 trainees, an overview of deployment planning is the be-all and end-all.

In addition to the trainees, customers who use SMS group machines also need to be trained. The complex content of the metal industry is to be designed and made accessible in target group-specific training courses.

With the help of the integration of Classroom Manager, the digital training management system of IM|S, and the Learning Management System (LMS) hiveQ, both target groups are addressed with just one application!

The TECademy is a learning environment for trainees and customers. It is based on the Classroom Manager and our LMS hiveQ, which can be seamlessly linked together.

The Classroom Manager combines all features for trainees, such as a digital report booklet, as well as the possibility of interactive collaboration in one learning platform. In this way, trainees receive the best possible qualification for different professions through digital learning content.

In addition, hiveQ can map customer training with e-learning features. This is used to train customers on the relevant devices. This includes topics relating to maintenance, system technology and safety concepts. These training courses are offered via the platform as online training and as face-to-face classroom sessions. The proven blended learning concept offers a comprehensive learning experience.

In addition to standard training courses, TECademy can also be used to create individual training courses tailored to the customer’s specific needs. The practical use of a device is clearly at the forefront of all training formats.
