The city of Zurich is divided into different areas. One of these areas is “City of Zurich, ERZ Entsorgung + Recycling”, which uses our more heroes training courses.

Our world is constantly changing – and companies and organizations in the public sector, such as the City of Zurich, are no exception.

In order to continue to organize itself in a modern and efficient manner, our client developed a new leadership model for its managers. This is implemented in a blended learning concept, i.e. it includes both analog and digital content.

With high-quality ready-to-use online training, the City of Zurich provides all managers with immediate and targeted training: thanks to the modular structure and responsive design, every manager learns exactly what they need – when they need it.

Learning success checks, practical checks and transfer evaluations help participants in the Leadership Heroes training to put what they have learned into practice. In this way, targeted personal and professional development of managers can take place.

The more heroes training courses were chosen to complement the planned blended learning concept in a meaningful way:

Time- and location-independent learning
The more heroes training courses can be completed by learners at their own pace and on various end devices (PC, tablet, smartphone). This means that even short periods of idle time and, for example, work-related train journeys can be put to good use.

Synchronization of the learning status
In the event of illness or overlapping schedules, there may be gaps in the learning material in classroom training. These can be compensated for by more heroes training courses. They can also be used for preparation and follow-up in order to better synchronize different learning speeds.

Insight into individual learning progress
Monthly reports show the current learning status of more heroes users. This means that the City of Zurich always has an overview of the current status and can close knowledge gaps at an early stage before they become a problem. In addition, we send out a final report once a year so that the city can ensure the retention periods of the learning status data.

Adaptation of content & design
The City of Zurich needed to adapt the design to its own corporate design and make minor changes to the content. As all more heroes training courses are created by our internal didactics and design team, changes to the content and design can be implemented quickly and easily.
