Personal data protection
Data is personal when it can, without ambiguity, be used to identify a specific natural person. The use of our internet pages is normally possible without declaring personal data. Different regulations may however apply to the use of individual services on our pages which are explicated below. Personal data such as name, address, email, telephone number, etc., that you provide are only processed in accordance with German data protection laws (EU General Data Protection Regulation and Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). The legal basis for the associated data processing is Art. 6 par. 1 b) DSGVO, (i.e. the processing of your data is for the fulfilment of the agreement on the services of IMS) and after weighing the interests pursuant to Art. 6 par. 1 f) of the German data protection laws (EU General Data Protection Regulation and Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). We will delete all the aforementioned data at the latest after expiry of the statutory warranty period, unless we are obliged or entitled by applicable law to further storage of the data.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are generated from our web pages and stored on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. They are used to make websites work or to optimise them. We therefore recommend to allow the use of cookies in our pages. If you decide otherwise, you can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Ways to contact us
Contacting us is possible via email or a contact form which you can find on our pages. Should you do so, the information you provide will be stored for the sole purpose of processing your contact. We will not give your data to third parties, nor will there be a comparison of these data with those that may be collected on other components of our pages. The details you provide are given willingly and serve to maintain prospective and existing customer relationships, to process contracts and to get in contact with you with the information that you ask for. You hereby voluntarily and expressly give your consent to processing the data you provided.
SSL encryption
To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques such as SSL through HTTPS. lease note however that data transmission (e.g. on email communications) has security vulnerabilites. A complete protection of data from access by third parties is thus impossible.
Use of Outfunnel
We use Outfunnel. This is an integrated software solution that we use to cover various aspects of our online marketing. These include, among others:
- Reporting (e.g. traffic sources, hits, etc. …)
- Contact management (e.g. user segmentation & CRM)

Use of Google Analytics
These Internet pages (hereinafter referred to as web pages or websites) use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (following: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, ie text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to check whether the data input on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human being or by an automated programme. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor on the basis of various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user’s terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. Capterra
On our website, we use the conversion tracking tool of Capterra Inc., a company based in the USA at 1201 Wilson Blvd, 9th Floor, Arlington, VA 22209, USA (“Capterra”). Capterra is a platform for software selection based on the ratings of other users.
When you trigger a so-called conversion event on our website (e.g. filling out a form to receive a demo version), a cookie is set by Capterra to recognise whether and when you have triggered a conversion event. The information generated is transferred to Capterra’s servers and processed there. We receive an evaluation from Capterra about the number of conversion events in order to be able to analyse the success of our advertising campaigns.

The legal basis for our processing of your data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You give your corresponding consent via our cookie banner. Please note that Capterra is a company from the USA. According to a recent ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ), there is not an adequate level of data protection in the USA and therefore a risk to the protection of your data. For example, under certain conditions, your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes. If you nevertheless wish to consent to the use of this tool, you can select this via the cookie banner. After implementation of the new EU standard data protection clauses, these will be the legal basis for data transfer to third countries.
Hotjar
We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimise the offering and experience on this website. Hotjar’s technology gives us a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click on, what they like and dislike, etc.) and helps us to tailor our offering to our users’ feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about the behaviour of our users and their devices, in particular the IP address of the device (only collected and stored anonymously during your use of the website), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), preferred language for viewing our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymised user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data collected on our behalf.

Microsoft Advertising
We use the Microsoft Advertising service of the provider Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland/EU) (formerly Bing Ads) on our website. Microsoft Advertising is an online marketing service that uses the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tool to help us display targeted advertisements via the Microsoft Bing search engines. Microsoft Advertising uses cookies for this purpose. This involves processing personal data in the form of online identifiers (including cookie identifiers), IP addresses, device identifiers and information about device and browser settings.
Microsoft Advertising collects data via UET that allows us to track target groups thanks to remarketing lists. For this purpose, a cookie is stored on the end device used when visiting our website. Microsoft Advertising can thus recognise that our website has been visited and play an advertisement when Microsoft Bing or Yahoo is used at a later time. The information is also used to create conversion statistics, i.e. to record how many users have reached our website after clicking on an advertisement. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to our website. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

Embedded YouTube-Videos
On some of our Internet pages, we embed YouTube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to YouTube’s servers. It tells YouTube which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube may personally associate your browsing behavior with you. This can be prevented by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior. Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect any such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser. Use of facebook-components
These Internet pages use only a link to the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). A further connection to Facebook or a use of Facebook components (plugins) does not take place.
Use of SalesViewer® technology:
This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes.
In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify website visitors personally.
The data stored by Salesviewer will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain them.
The data recording and storage can be repealed at any time with immediate effect for the future, by clicking on https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out in order to prevent SalesViewer® from recording your data. In this case, an opt-out cookie for this website is saved on your device. If you delete the cookies in the browser, you will need to click on this link again.
Publication of job advertisements / application / application via our website
In connection with an application by you, your application data will be collected and processed electronically by us. We will only use the personal data you submit to process your application for the vacancy. Your personal data will only be given to persons who are involved in the application process. All data controllers are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties, unless you have consented to the data transfer or we are required by law and / or official or judicial orders to a data transfer. If we conclude a contract of employment with you on the basis of your application, your transferred personal data will be stored by us in your personnel file within the scope of the normal organizational and administrative process, taking into account the relevant legal provisions. Your data will be deleted within 6 months if your application is rejected, if a longer storage is not necessary due to legal requirements (for example the obligation to prove according to the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly consented to a longer storage in our prospect database.
Information / correction / cancellation /revocation
You can contact us with questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking or deletion via our contact form. We point out that you are entitled based on the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Bundesdatenschutzgesetz to information about and correction of incorrect data, data transfer or deletion of personal data, should this claim not be prevented by a statutory storage obligations. In addition, there is the right to appeal to a data protection supervisory authority.
